FAIRMONT - Agriculture is big business worldwide, nationally and, of course, locally. Minnesota Commiss-ioner of Agriculture Gene Hugoson shared his expertise in the field Tuesday at the Fairmont Area Chamber of Commerce banquet. He began by talking about the local economy and expanded from there. A recently released agriculture census shows "tremendous gains in Martin County," Hugoson said. >> full story
