Open Question: Which would be more appropriate to determine when to trade forex for real?

I am new to this forex, and there seems to be two schools of thought

Many/most online forex brokers have got 30-days demo account. While practice make perfect is repeated by many people, more forex brokers seems to view 30-days practice adequate to sustain real life trading

At least one online forex brokers, recommends at least six months trading with demo account prior to the real account trading

There was one who suggested at least five profitable demo trading in succession as the qualification for the real account trading

Open Question: Has anyone used THEOPTIONSCLUB.COM?

I'm a beginner trader of options and forex. I'm in the process of learning all I can from various places online and have only come up with a few that are really worth my time. The two that I currently use are learn-stock-options-trading.com, where i am currently enrolled in an options coaching class, and babypips.com, where i'm learning about forex trading.
I came across Christopher Smiths website, theoptionsclub.com and was intrigued at his strategy. I have emailed him twice with no response, so I was wondering if anyone has used his method or at least direct me to someone who can teach me what I am eager to know.
