Resolved Question: Isolationism?
Still be in the global economy with stocks/commerce, etc....
BUT
Does anyone think the US could ever attempt Isolationism again? Pull our soliders out of countries where the inhabitents dont want us there? Remove funding from ungrateful countries? Try and center on the problems here instead of overseas? Protect and enforce our borders instead of another country's?
Does anyone think it could work? I dont want people answer with "That's idiotic", etc.... Just want to know if anyone thinks it could work.

It's a take 2, because I am so computer illiterate. Basically, I was an international student at a well-known university in the US and am now engaged to a US citizen. We want to get married in the states just so my fiance's relative can attend the wedding. However, I'm a little skeptical: Can a non-us citizen marry a us citizen in the states?
Before you jump into the whole K visa spiel, we're moving abroad for our overseas assignment. Hence, we're not even going to live in the US as a married couple. Given our assignment/job in commerce goes well, we want to keep traveling around the world. SO, can we or can we NOT get married in the US for a marriage certificate?
